Abstract
This study was done to investigate the meaning and application of the blended learning and thus to apply the e-learning in medical school. We studied the construction and implementation of the ¡¯Doctor and Leadership¡¯ curriculum that was provided in Keimyung University School of Medicine. The students¡¯ satisfaction of the curriculum is studied. The ¡¯Doctor
and leadership¡¯ curriculum integrated the on-line and off-line to the blended learning and consisted of the following subjects: ¡¯If you do not change, you can become extinct¡¯, ¡¯Every person is different¡¯ and ¡¯Building leadership¡¯. Total 249 students who had taken the ¡¯Doctor and leadership¡¯ class once since 2005 participated in the satisfaction indexes research. The factors in questionnaire were composed of the four satisfaction indexes: the whole curriculum, the blended
learning, the interaction, and the instructional design. The findings form the regression analysis on the total satisfaction showed that the three sub-factors ¡¯the blended learning, the interaction, and the whole instructional design¡¯ influence on the total satisfaction index (p< 0.001). The result implied that the satisfaction on the instruction is influence by the educational strategies, the interaction during the course, and the curriculum contents. Therefore, we argue that when a
medical school designs a blended learning curriculum, those whom concerned such as an instructor, a designer, and an administrator should focus on the interaction design and contents of curriculum.
